제주도 동쪽 해안 구좌읍 월정리 해변. 몇 해 전까지는 그냥 조용한 어촌 마을이었다는데, 요즘 이 어촌마을에 까페촌이 형성돼서 여행온 외지인 뿐만 아니라 섬사람들도 즐겨 찾는다고 한다. "바다와 논하다", "아일랜드 조르바" 등 까페이름도 해안까페 답게 멋지고 독특하다. 까페 앞에는 보통 작은 나무의자와 파라솔을 설치해서 바다를 바라보며 음악을 듣거나 책을 보면서 커피 한 잔 할 수 있게 마련해 둔것도 이색적. 지금까지는 딱 좋은데, 왠지 5년, 10년 후에는 현대식 디자인의 모던한 까페들로 탈바꿈 하면서 고층건물들이 올라가지 않을까 하는 걱정이 된다. 제주도의 풍광에 취해 커피 한잔 하고픈 곳을 찾는다면 추천.

Woljeong-ri beach located in the east side of Jeju island. Years ago, it used to be just a silent and small fishing village. Now a cafe village has been formed in the town and native Jeju people besides travelers enjoy this village. "Discuss with sea" "Island Zorba", the titles of cafe are exotic and nice, fitting to the atmosphere of the seaside cafes. Normally, small wood chairs and parasol are equipped for customers to enjoy viewing of sea or listening music. Now, it is just good, but I am worried about that ten or five years later the village would be full of modern and stylish cafe and high-story building. If you are looking for a nice place where you want to enjoy coffee and a nice view of the sea, I recommend you this cafe village.
